A group of ladies held a special event at Painting with a Twist in The Woodlands, Texas. They reserved a private party and allowed guests to sign up online. At the party, a donation jar was available for Ally’s Wish, along with snacks, wine, and lots of paint! All of the guests were devoted followers of Allyson Hendrickson’s blog and have been touched by her story and continuing strength. Event organizer Caroline Crawford states, “They all love her like they have known her for years.” Raising over $350, this impromptu yet successful event reaffirms the significance of doing “what you can, where you can.” Events like this continue to allow Ally’s Wish to bless new moms struggling with terminal illness.
