Jacquelyn Vranicar is a Minnesota mom of four beautiful children; three boys 14, 12 & 8, and a 5 year old girl.  She was diagnosed de novo stage IV metastatic breast cancer in 2020 at 38 years young. Jacquelyn has been married to her college sweetheart for 17 years!  Her wish to take her kids to the beach was granted by Ally’s Wish in February 2024!

Jacquelyn said “It was incredible! I intentionally spent one on one time with each kiddo, I asked each of them their favorite part of the trip (swimming with stingrays, beach time and fishing for the win!).

We all left relaxed and with full hearts from this time together. We are so thankful for the chance to do this!”

Stefanie Davis – Disney 2023

Stefanie Davis – Disney 2023

Stefanie Davis is a mom to two young boys and married to her college sweetheart. She was diagnosed with Refractory ALL with the Philadelphia chromosome in July 2021 – it has become unresponsive to treatment.  In December 2023, Ally’s Wish was able to help Stefanie surprise her boys with a trip to Disney World and their first ever flight on a plane!

Upon return from the trip, Stefanie said “ It was amazing!!!! We were so busy from start to finish and loved it all 😊. We made soooo many memories and ate ALL the food. It was such a nice time not being in a hospital or thinking about being sick. It was one magnificent Christmas present. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️”

“We are so blessed to have found you. We will never forget you all. ❤️ It makes my momma heart so happy to know they will always have these memories with their momma. I’m making a Shutterfly book so they will never forget it ❤️”

Betsy McGinnis – Grand Canyon

Betsy is a Texas mom with 3 beautiful children! She was initially diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2022, just after her 40th birthday. Just one year later, in 2023 she learned her cancer had advanced to stage IV and was very aggressive. Ally’s Wish was able to send Betsy and her family on a trip they had always wanted to experience-one of the seven wonders! They went to Flagstaff to take in the Grand Canyon! During the trip Betsy messaged – “Thank you guys for blessing us with this trip! We are only on day 1 & it’s already fabulous!” Upon return she said “Oh, it was so wonderful. We had the best time and have so many lasting memories. Thank you all SO much–truly. It was an incredible blessing.”

 

Sheila Whitney – Hawaii

Sheila is a TEXAS mom of two teenage boys, who has been battling breast cancer since 2011.  Her diagnosis turned terminal in 2020.  Sheila and her family were blessed with a trip to Hawaii in 2023.  Sheila said they made great family memories together!!

“Your organization recently sent my friend, Ramona Miller, and her daughter to Hawaii. It was rushed to be granted because she was going to have surgery. Ramona and her daughter had the best time on their trip!! Ramona came home and had surgery and she passed away soon after.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving Ramona and Zoe(12) the amazing week they had!!”

Heather was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer just as her youngest son was turning 1 year old. Heather lives in Alabama with her husband of 14 years and their three sons ages 14, 10, 8. In 2024, Ally’s Wish granted her wish of a trip to Disney! Heather said, “we had the absolute best time! Our cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing, it was perfect! I can’t thank you all enough for blessing us with this trip! It was just nice to not have to worry about anything else but each other.”

Kristy Pena is a sweet mom from Frisco, TX.  Her original diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer in 2021 quickly turned to stage 4 in fall of 2022.  Kristy has a beautiful, positive spirit and plans to fight this cancer every step of the way to keep making memories with her family!  In October 2023, Ally’s Wish was able to send Kristy, with husband Gio and daughter Katalina to Hawaii!  Kristy said “I can’t thank you enough for helping to make my wish come true! It was the trip of a lifetime!”🌺🤟

Amanda was first diagnosed with breast cancer at 33 years old. She lives in Idaho with her husband and two amazing children In 2023, Amanda and her family were granted a wish of a trip to Colorado to spend time together in the mountains. Amanda said she was exhausted and had the best time they could have imagined exploring the mountains with her family, making lasting memories!

Helena Hsieh – Hawaii 2023

In May 2020, hours before her daughter’s birth, Helena was told that the lump in her left breast was breast cancer. While recovering from her C section she was told that her breast cancer was Stage 4. Helena has an amazing husband and a beautiful 3 year old daughter. This past July 2023 Helena and her family were able to spend time together in Hawaii. It was a dream come true in paradise. Every moment felt special and was filled with joy.

Kate Witten – Disney World

Kate Witten was diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma at the young age of 30.  She is a loving mother to her 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter.  Kate was referred to Ally’s Wish less than a year after her diagnosis, at this point all lines of treatment had failed.  In April 2023, Kate was able to take a dream trip to Disney World with her husband and children!  Their trip was full of princess parties, character encounters and making lasting family memories.  Kate’s husband wrote to Ally’s Wish:

“The trip was everything we wanted it to be and more.  I truly feel like Katie hung on so she had just enough energy to get through this trip to make the memories with the kids. Thank you again to you and your team.”

Tiffany Brandt – Miami

Tiffany Brandt – Miami

Meet Tiffany, a single mom, and her incredible son Cade, who faces unique challenges as a high-functioning autistic child. Tiffany’s journey hasn’t been easy; diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2017, she’s persevered through it all. With no medical insurance, her diagnosis came late, but her determination to create lasting memories for Cade never wavered. Despite the hurdles, Tiffany’s spirit remains unbreakable, focused on crafting joyous moments for her son. With the help of Ally’s Wish, her heartfelt dream of taking Cade to the beach and watching the sunrise and sunset together became a reality. Their Miami adventure was beyond imagination – attending a Marlins Game where Cade was part of the opening ceremony, enjoying sunny beach days, and embarking on an exhilarating speed boat tour.

In her final days, Michelle wanted to spend Easter with her young family. In February, Ally’s Wish traveled to Albany, NY to make that wish happen. Such a sweet family in one last celebration of the hope that is to come.
