We travelled to Maui and sailed on a catamaran, took a tour around the island by car and saw painted eucalyptus and sea turtles sunning themselves. We swam every day and soaked in the perfect weather, sunset views, and beachy air. It was truly relaxation between chemo treatments that felt like so much more; a gift of beauty and respite that I haven’t felt since my diagnosis nearly 3 years ago. My mother Sandra, and daughter Adeline, 9, also thoroughly enjoyed themselves and maximized the activities abounding on the island and at the beautiful resort Allys wish found for us on Ka’anapali beach. Feeling so grateful and refreshed!
